Spains Telecinco Acquires the Series “Without Breasts there is no Paradise,’ the Greatest Success of Colombian Television in 2006

“Caracol TV International announced today that the leading Television network in Spain, Telecinco, acquired the broadcasting rights and format of the successful Colombian series “Without Breasts there is no Paradise,” a series that will soon become a part the stations programming grid. The agreement was signed in Madrid by Paolo Vasile, Television Managing Director for Telecinco, and Camilo Cano, International Vice President of Caracol, who considers it “the beginning of a long association between both stations, in the first phases of partnership.”

“Without Breasts there is no Paradise” has become the Colombian networks highest selling product in the past years, with negotiations in place to reproduce in Italy, Russia and the United States. Additionally, it has been sold in over 25 countries and regional cable systems in Latin America and Europe, with Televisa Networks acquiring the exclusivity for Latin America. The series, written by Gustavo Bolivar, is preceded by a spectacular success in viewership throughout Colombia, as well as in all the countries where it is currently shown. The series has also been praised by prestigious media companies such as CNN, NBC, Diario Clarin, Miami Herald and many others.
