“Lucy Torres, who spent two decades as a parent volunteer in the city schools, has been hired as Mayor Frank Jacksons Hispanic liaison.

More recently, Torres also worked for four years as a community organizer in the city schools’ bilingual office, known as the Multicultural Multilingual Office.”
