“The federal dragnet that resulted in the arrest of hundreds of suspected illegal immigrants at a Greeley meatpacking plant Tuesday ended whatever optimism immigrant families were feeling after the Nov. 7 election, according to a Pueblo immigration attorney.

“There was a feeling after the election that the federal government would now look at comprehensive immigration reform,” Guillermo Garibay said. “Thats disappeared. People are terrified now.”"
