“Immigration officials launched a massive raid Tuesday against Smithfield Foods meatpacking rival Swift & Co. at six plants in six states.

Busses pulled up to the plants and armed Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, officials stormed the plants in riot gear. The federal agency said the raids were the result of an investigation into stolen identities, but any illegal workers found at the plants were detained.”
