“Connecticuts Latinos are facing a health crisis, suffering higher rates of major illnesses such as cancer and diabetes while being less likely to have health insurance than other ethnic groups, according to a new report by a Hispanic advocacy group.
The nonprofit Hispanic Health Council released the report Tuesday, calling it the first comprehensive look at Latino health in Connecticut.”
