“WHAT:
For one special afternoon, children and parents from the Amigos For Kids “Amigos Strengthens Families & Communities” program, funded by The Children’s Trust, will enjoy a special day aboard the beautiful Costa Mediterranea while the ship is docked in the Port of Miami. During the holiday celebration, children and their parents will enjoy a special tour of the ship, a poolside lunch, and a visit from Santa, who will deliver the children gifts from the Amigos for Kids annual toy drive and donated by Costa Cruise Lines.This year marks the 15th Anniversary of the organization, as well as the 15th Annual Holiday Toy Drive, and this is the first event at which toys are distributed this year. The Toy Drive, which distributes more than 10,000 toys annually, is unique in that it fulfills the specific wishes of disadvantaged children.
