Julieta Venegas cooks up familiar magic on new CD

“Mexican rock singer Julieta Venegas said she loved working with producer Coti Sorokin and singer-songwriter Jorge Villamizar on her new CD, “Limon y Sal.”

In an interview, Venegas said: “I had been wanting to work again with Coti, since we worked on my previous CD where we wrote some songs together. We found that we could really collaborate together. And with Jorge Villamizar, he already had a song that I liked, it was the same chorus on ‘Limon y Sal’ (title track). So I asked him if I could finish the song.”"
