“The mostly hispanic immigrants attending the immigration seminar at the Wilkinson Public Library Saturday seemed eager to hear more about the legal avenues open to them to obtain visas or citizenship from Sandra Stanley, an attorney from Grand Junction.
The room was standing room only, with families and children nearly spilling out the door. They stayed for the more than two-hour session that touched on the basics of immigration law, which Stanley said was “about as complicated as tax law.””
