Tagged: Oregon, university of texasPosted on: December 8th, 2006“Ricoy, one of an estimated 300 Hispanics in Salem age 65 years and older, could be a poster child for a new report released this week on aging in the Hispanic community. It was issued by the National Alliance for Hispanic Health and the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
The study, the first of its kind, found that older adult Hispanics who fare best as they age tend to be those who are more connected to their culture and community.”
