“Publisher of El Planeta Newspaper in partnership with The Boston Globe announced the launch today of a new online shopping site, ElPlanetaStore.com, geared for the Hispanic community. ElPlanetaStore.com will carry a line of Spanish-language products as well as sports memorabilia.
HNP and The Boston Globe expect the website to be successful as it serves a community with a buying power exceeding $14 billion. “The Globe’s business experience with the BostonGlobeStore.com will help HNP to enter the e-commerce business, while also helping the GlobeStore serve the Hispanic market more effectively,” stated Nancy Buzby, Director of Merchandising, The Boston Globe.”
