Mega TV Recipient of Five EMMY(R) Awards

“WSBS Mega TV Channel 22 announced today that the station is the proud recipient of five EMMY(R) Awards. Mega TV was honored with the awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Suncoast Chapter, this past Saturday, December 2nd at the Eden Rock Hotel in Miami Beach.

Mega TV’s team won a total of five EMMY(R) Awards, including: two EMMY(R) Awards for Graphic Arts – Graphics and Animation on Mega TV Launch Campaign; two EMMY(R) Awards for Promotion-Program-Single Spot/Campaign for its programs Love & Sex and Lucrecia-“Mega Especiales”; and one EMMY(R) Award in the category Nostalgia Program for its Mega Especial-Celia Cruz.

Commenting on the awards, Cynthia Hudson-Fernández said, “We wish to thank the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for honoring our station with these wonderful Awards. We also want to congratulate all of our employees for their efforts in building Mega TV into a dynamic Hispanic television offering in Miami in just nine months. These EMMY(R) Awards are a testament to your hard work.” “
