“Centro la Esperanza, also know as the Hispanic Center at the Community Church of Christ in Bowling Green, Ky., is closing but services provided to the Hispanic community will continue.

The center was founded in March 2002, under the direction of Celia Lopez. Lopez volunteered her time and expertise to help Hispanics with numerous services such as translating, limited assistance with food and clothing and referrals to community resources. The Center has been operating out of their current location at 213 East 12th Street since 2004, donated by the Community Church of Christ.”
