Hispanic chamber urges defeat of English-first bill - Nashville, Tennessee

“The Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is mounting a final push to defeat legislation that would make English the official language of Nashville.

The organization e-mailed supporters today, urging them to lobby Metro Council members to vote against the proposal or abstain from voting on it at Tuesday’s 7 p.m. council meeting.”
