“The Giants are nearing a three-year contract with catcher Bengie Molina, a baseball source told the Mercury News on Monday.
Molina, a former Gold Glove catcher, would earn about $15 million over the life of the contract, though the language is still being worked out. The deal is expected to be slightly back-loaded.”
