“An estimated half of registered Hispanic voters in Oregon cast ballots in the November election, according to the Democratic Party of Oregon, and although no polling exists to show who that group of voters favored, it’s likely that Democrats benefited more than Republicans.

Using databases of voters with Hispanic surnames, the Democratic Party of Oregon estimates that 30,677 Hispanics, or 50 percent of Hispanics registered to vote in the state, voted in the November election. Two years ago, during the presidential election, an estimated 70 percent of state’s registered Hispanic voters cast their ballots.”
