“The United Way of Chatham County Board of Directors has approved reinstating funds to the Hispanic Liaison after first denying a request for support this summer.
The board made its decision based on further review of the group’s audited financial documents and after learning the nonprofit social service agency was able to reduce administrative costs to within United Way’s required levels. “
