“Minorities are less likely to get quality health care, according to advocates, and also tend to be hit harder by illnesses such as heart disease, obesity and chemical dependency.
On Wednesday, advocates for the Hispanic community will look at the disparities and the reasons for them, and what residents can do to improve their health care.
The forum begins at 6:30 p.m. in the First Congregational Church of Danbury/Hispanic United Church of Christ on the corner of West Street and Deer Hill Avenue.”
