Knowledge is Power!
“In North Carolina I make 100 to 120 wreaths a day of different sizes,” she said. “It’s very hard on my hands and my back, especially when the guys give me 54-inch big branches to work with. Oh, my gosh, it hurts.”

“Alondra Camacho has an easy smile and merry, twinkling eyes. And her hands are as strong as a stevedore’s.

Camacho, 22, makes holiday wreaths at Cardinal Tree Farms’ sales lot next to Publix Shopping Center on Seven Farms Drive. Working from 8 a.m. until dusk, she and co-workers Leo Aquino and Lucio Hernandez transform wire, wood and pine boughs into beautiful wreaths that will adorn Daniel Island homes.”
