EliasArts Holdings Opens Avenida Acceso (Andres Levin of Yerba Buena as Creative Director)

The new company will bring 26 years of EliasArts experience in innovative music, high quality production values, and branding/audio identity together with major music and composing talents from Latin/Urban music.

Avenida Acceso is a new approach to commercial music in the multi-cultural market with a fresh and exciting musical vibe from their Latin/Urban talent roster. It has been created to offer advertising agencies, television networks, and film producers a wide array of musicality from around the world that both blends and bonds many cultures and diverse musical styles.

Grammy nominated artist/producer/film composer, Andres Levin (band-leader of the critically praised Latin-Fusion group Yerba Buena), will be the Creative Director and lead composer for Avenida Acceso. Levin has worked with EliasArts as a Featured Artist for the last year, and the birth of Avenida Acceso is an extension of the multi-cultural reputation he has established for himself in the Latin and Urban Music Communities.

Heralded as “the master chef of urban fusion” (Los Angeles Times), “a musicologist’s dream” (New York Times) and “a multi-culti world unto himself … a brilliant producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist” (Chicago Tribune), Levin has produced and collaborated critically acclaimed tracks for Tina Turner, Macy Gray, Paulina Rubio, Miguel Bose, Aterciopelados and Orishas just to name a few. Levin’s distinctive musical sound has now been embraced by the world Film & TV as well, with music already featured in shows such as ER, Entourage, & Third Watch, and film scores completed this year for “El Cantante” (the Jennifer Lopez/Marc Anthony biography of Latin Music legend Hector Lavoe) and the upcoming Lions Gate true crime thriller “Borderland”.

Management of Avenida Acceso includes Analia Garcia, who is Account Director/Sales & Production and Janie Reyes, who is VP, General Manager, Operations. Garcia joins from music house Sacred Noise where she was in Marketing/Sales, and Reyes joins from Bally Total Fitness, one of the country’s largest Latino advertisers, where she was head of advertising production. Both Garcia and Reyes are also professional musicians and vocalists in their own right, talents which bring an added musical depth to the company.

Also joining Avenida Acceso is composer Jose Espinosa from Los Angeles. Espinosa has collaborated and played on many stages with various artists all over the world. Member of the Grammy-winning Latin, Hip-Hop group, Ozomatli, Espinosa is known for his wide musical range from Afro-Latin to the Urban music circuit. He has performed, produced, and arranged for a variety of recording artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, and currently touring with Salvador Santana. His commercial and film credits include “Along Came Polly”, “Sex in the City” and “Habana Nights,” just to name a few.

Another talent in the Avenida Acceso roster is composer Bernardo Targett. Targett has worked with producer legends Richard Dashut (Fleetwood Mac), Nick DiDia (Stone Temple Pilots) and Randy Jackson (Journey), and has toured with rock veterans The Cult and Veruca Salt. His Latin music compositions have been showcased on Hispanic networks, Univision and Telemundo, and he is currently scoring for the Tequilame campaign commercial launch.

Avenida Acceso has staff in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, and will produce from its studios in NYC and LA.”
