Mega TV’s “Desvelados’ to Feature Interview with Alina Shriver

“WSBS -Mega TV Channel 22 announced today that its late night show “Desvelados” will feature a very special interview on Tuesday, November 28th at 11:00 p.m. with Alina Shriver, Vice President of Best Buddies International.

Founded in 1989 by Alina Shriver’s husband, Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Best Buddies International is the world’s largest non-profit organization devoted solely to providing friendships and jobs to people with intellectual disabilities. As a result of the mutually-beneficial friendships formed through Best Buddies, people with intellectual disabilities develop the self-esteem and social skills necessary to secure rewarding jobs, live on their own and carry out the day-to-day activities – like grocery shopping or renting a movie – most of us take for granted. Equally significant, Best Buddies’ peer volunteers gain a higher sense of self-worth and commitment to public service.

Best Buddies has more than 1,300 chapters in 26 countries around the world, including Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico and Spain, and soon in Chile, Honduras and Peru.
