“Aura Maria Posse, a radio producer in Charlotte, said while the program was a good one, for many of her listeners it seemed to be an action rooted in politics. Posse added that the Hispanic community does not “have a lot of community leaders, and it’s an afraid community.”
Many listeners called in to complain that the program was unfairly targeting Hispanics, many of whom could face deportation for only minor crimes.”
