“Los Hermanos Vazquez Circus visit to New York at SHEA Stadium in Queens has been performing to sell-out audience and has announced an extension of their stay until December 3rd.
LHV Circus performing for over 30 years in Mexico City, have been touring the US for the past 5 years, to packed houses in more than 20 key Latino markets in the U.S. In 2005, LHV Circus visited New York for the first time setting up their tent in Spanish Harlem and performing to sell out audiences.
This year the circus opened at SHEA Stadium on November 3rd, and the community has responded with huge audiences during the weekday and weekend shows.
“It has been a great stop for us and we appreciate the response of the New York Latino community to our family circus”, stated Ramon Vazquez.
“Due to the great response we have requested an extension on our stay until December 3rd, which was approved by the NYC Parks and Recreation, “Jose Pepe” Vazquez continued. “We are very pleased to see so many happy young faces, enjoying the performances”.
LHV Circus, which adjusted the show by eliminating all wild animals, to conform with New York City Parks requirements, presents Latino performers from Mexico, Italy, Africa, Argentina and Brazil.
LHV Circus will present weekday shows at 6pm and 8:30pm and on weekends at 3, 6 and 8:30pm. Ticket prices range from $15 to $40. Shows will continue until Sunday, December 3rd.
And during their visit, LHV Circus also plans to perform a special Thanksgiving show for youngsters at the Children’s Hospital at New York Presbyterian Hospital on November 21st, at 1pm.
“New York will become a permanent stop for LHV for many years to come,” stated Ralph Paniagua, the New York show co- producer.
