I have been trying to highlight this problem. Children shouldn’t be treated like this.

“Children born in the United States to undocumented immigrants will not be entitled to health insurance through Medicaid, under a new federal ruling that went into effect in July this year.

Hospital administrators in Lufkin said while there are different interpretations to the ruling, action had been initiated to advise congressmen of its ramifications.

“It’s going to hurt … it’s not a good ruling. Very adverse to healthcare,” said Bryant Krenek, chief executive officer of Memorial Health Systems of East Texas.”
