Minutemen protest area with Hispanic squatters - San Diego, California

“About 150 Minutemen protested a squatter community in a rural canyon Saturday, saying the Hispanic day laborers living in tents were illegal immigrants who should be deported.

The Minutemen, carrying signs that said “hiring illegal immigrants is a crime,” were met with about 20 counter protesters.

Police on horses were on hand to keep all protesters off the land being occupied by squatters, which is private property.”
