Metro Reaches out to Hispanic Community - Las Vegas, Nevada

“Bridging the communication gap between law enforcement and the Hispanic community. That was the goal of the first Annual Police and Hispanics Together Mano y Mano forum in Las Vegas Saturday.

It can be both frustrating and frightening when a language barrier prevents residents from being able to reach out to police, it also makes it harder for Metro to do its job. So bridging that communication gap is what the event was all about. Metro police with the help of several other community partners, hosted the forum.”
