Margarita De León recognized for Latino scholarship initiative – Toledo, Ohio
Tagged: latina, Toledo“Margarita De León, editor and publisher of Bravo Magazine, will be honored with the Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser Award on Nov. 16 at the Franciscan Center at Lourdes College.
De León, who is also the regional director for Kaleidoscope Group, a diversity and consulting firm based out of Chicago, Ill., helped establish the Diamante Scholarship Initiative. The initiative has allowed local institutions of higher education to collaborate to raise money for scholarships for Latino youth. The institutions in which she worked with ”” UT, Lourdes College, MUO, BGSU and Owens Community College ”” nominated her for this award.”
