“The Borough of Freehold and attorneys for day laborers have agreed to settle a three-year-old federal lawsuit that accused the borough of preventing the laborers from seeking employment.

The Borough Council ratified the agreement at its meeting Monday night, agreeing to pay up to $278,000 to settle the case.”
