I live in the Midwest and I can tell you this is way off. When was the last time this Stanford Historian was in the midwest. Chicago is in the midwest isn’t it? Even here in a small town in the middle of the midwest there are plenty of Latino laborers, but I don’t inquire into their status. Does he?
