“Cespedes, who grew up in Hialeah, graduated ninth in his class from Miami Lakes Technical Educational School, won a full scholarship to UM — and last month was named by Selecciones magazine as one of seven Hispanics teens nationwide who are changing the world.

”This is a kid who has a definite idea of what career he wants to pursue,” said Elizabeth Bradley, Selecciones’ publisher. “He is the picture of achievement.””
