“The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) is pleased to see the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) and Exxon Mobil Corporation unite to generate business opportunities for the Hispanic community.
“Anytime two entities get together and commit efforts to providing business opportunities for qualified minority individuals it is a great objective,” said Yolanda Coly, Associate Director of NAMWOLF. “I commend USHCC and ExxonMobil for their commitment to the minority business community.”
The partnership between USHCC and ExxonMobile will make opportunities possible for the Hispanic business community to identify employment prospects with ExxonMobil. The new ExxonMobil initiative will utilize USHCC’s extensive screening process of qualified applicants as a resource for hiring new employees. The partnership will attract minority business entrepreneurs who want to become Exxon and Mobil retailers. This conscious effort is another example of Corporate America recognizing that diversity is a very integral part in operating a successful business; one initiative that has become a focal point of business agendas.
The National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (www.namwolf.org) was founded in June, 2001. It is a national trade association comprised of a select group of minority and women-owned law firms who exhibit excellence in the legal profession. The primary aim of the organization is to advocate for the increased utilization of minority and women-owned law firms by major corporations and public entities throughout the United States.”
