“Nely Rivera loves her job and loves her new hometown. But some in Lewisburg and Marshall County complained about her. But it wasn’t the quality of Nely’s work that they complained about, it was because she’s Hispanic and speaks Spanish.

Nely is a librarian at the Marshall County in Lewisburg. Recently, someone contacted the wondering if Nely was legal to work in the United States, which she is. Nely was born in New Jersey. Her is from Puerto Rico, which is an American territory and whose citizens are American by birth.”
