“Father Gilbert Rodriguez, who ministers at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, has a top-rated radio show 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturdays. He plays well-known Latin artists — usually from yesteryear — such as Pedro Infante and Jorge Negrete. He has done the show for about 10 years.

At 10:31 a.m., he gets a call from a woman requesting “Amorsito Mio” by Joan Sebastian, a Tejano artist. He plays the song.”
