In a joint statement, the Chair of The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, David C. Lizárraga and Hector V. Barreto, Chair of The Latino Coalition said, “The election of a new President in Mexico and a new Congress in the United States, signals a historic moment in the strategic relation between the United States and Mexico. Immigration, commerce and trade, and security along the southern border are some of the major issues impacting the future of both countries. It is a great honor to host this important leader in his first trip to the U.S. as the President-elect of Mexico.”
