Tucson hosts Mexican film festival - Puro Mexicano Tucson Film Festival - Arizona

“These two films, “America 101” and “Curandero,” are among those that will be screened at the Puro Mexicano Tucson Film Festival this weekend.

Now in its second year, the festival bills itself as the only Mexican film festival in the United States. This year’s slate of films features diverse themes such as life on the border, Hispanic heritage and good old-fashioned horror. Organizers hope festivalgoers will see they have more in common with their counterparts south of the border.”
