“It’s no secret our nation’s ethnic makeup is changing. Hispanic people made up one half of the nations population growth from 2000 to 2004.

Studies show as a whole, Latinos are not using that muscle power to vote. In fact, Hispanics only accounted for six percent of the vote in 2004.

It’s a different story in Texas: one fourth of the Hispanic vote came from this state.”
