Knowledge is Power!
“Galavisión, the nations leading Spanish-language cable television network, will debut “Delicioso” (Delicious), a dynamic cooking and lifestyle show that celebrates the creation and enjoyment of a meal in the true Hispanic tradition, on Saturday, November 4th, from 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. ET/PT (10:30 am – 11 am Central).
Presented by charismatic Colombian chef/host Ingrid Hoffmann, the program goes beyond guiding viewers on meal preparation to providing a blueprint for entertaining, decorating, dating, shopping, beauty, and much more. Hoffmann transforms ordinary daily activities into fun, pleasurable experiences and shows viewers how to stimulate their everyday lives.
Throughout the show the camera follows Hoffmann as she shops, cooks, decorates, and entertains family and friends. Each episode of “Delicioso” is built around a theme or specific occasion such as “Chocorico” (Chocolicous), “Mar Adentro” (Under the Sea), “Desayuno Para Mama” (A Breakfast for Mom), or “Amor a la Mexicana” (Love Mexican Style). One popular segment, “Dime Que Comes y Te Dire Quien Eres” (You Are What You Eat), features Hoffmann as she visits the homes of various Hispanic TV, music and sports stars to see what’s in their refrigerators.
Galavisión will also air Ingrid Hoffmann’s popular cooking and decorating segment “Un Minuto Delicioso” (A Delicious Minute). These daily tips, presented Monday through Friday at 4 p.m., provide additional ideas based on the theme of the weekend show.
“Delicioso” will air on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ET/PT (10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Central) on the Galavisión Network.
Ingrid Hoffmann’s passion for food, entertaining and style began when she was a little girl and cooked alongside her mother, a Cordon Bleu Chef. As her love of cooking grew, she found she had a flair for entertaining and soon developed her own distinctive style. Now, Hoffmann spends each day sharing her enthusiasm and talent with an international audience. Hoffmann regularly appears on Univision Television Network’s “Despierta America” (Wake Up America), the longest-running and most successful morning show on Spanish-language television; contributes a multi-page decorating and cooking spread in Buen Hogar, the Spanish-language version of Good House Keeping; and publishes a bi-weekly syndicated column in Rumbo, a chain of Spanish daily newspapers in Houston, San Antonio and the Rio Grand Valley. “
