Fair helps inform area Hispanics of services – Sheboygan, Wisconsin

“The second annual Hispanic Information Fair will be held from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5 at the Sheboygan Armory.

Sponsored by the Sheboygan mayor’s office and Lakeshore Technical College, the fair provides information to Hispanic individuals who might not be aware of local community agencies and programs.

“This is important because we try to inform members of the community of the programs we have in Sheboygan County,” said Mirta Cabrera, executive director of the Literacy Council of Sheboygan, which sponsored the 2005 fair. “They are maybe not using the services because they are not informed of them.”"
