Bears tackle Spanish market with simulcast - Chicago, Illinois

CBS Radio’s WCKG-FM plans to air a Spanish simulcast of the Chicago Bears game on the road vs. the New England Patriots on Nov. 26, while the regular radio broadcast is carried on sister station WBBM-AM 780, the team’s radio flagship.

Insiders emphasize it is not–repeat not–an indication CBS plans to flip WCKG to a Spanish format to combat the listener erosion, a move some doomsayers have been predicting in vain since Howard Stern left last year.”
