Al Borde Will Host a Night of Art and Entertainment in Honor of the Latin American Tradition, El Dí de los Muertos – Los Angeles, California

More than 600 edgy, bilingual and bi-cultural Hispanic college students, art enthusiasts and young professionals are expected to come together and enjoy an evening of art exhibits and live musical performances.
Los Angeles-based community groups, colleges and universities will build their own “Day of the Dead”-themed altars for the chance to win $500 in cash and prizes. The evening’s art exhibition will be made up of original, two-dimensional artwork submitted by local artists. The winner of the art contest will receive feature editorial coverage in Al Borde as well as a personalized art exhibition at Casita del Pueblo, a retail store and art gallery located in uptown Whittier. “
