Natural disaster, though, didn’t stop the group from making its most infectious collection of songs, as the band’s third release features percussive Latin rhythms with indie rock riffs and vintage synthesizer vamps. The disc even gets a little vocal help from Men at Work’s Colin Hay. Kinky brings the dance party to Asheville for a Halloween bash at The Orange Peel.
