Univision 23 Expands Morning News Coverage in South Florida

“In response to soaring viewership, Univision 23’s morning newscast “Al Amanecer” (At Sunrise) will expand its one-hour format to two-hours starting Monday, October 30th. South Florida families are starting their days earlier and Univision 23 in Miami will now wake up with them and provide additional weather and traffic reporting as well as expanded local news coverage and events of special significance to South Florida’s growing community.

“South Floridian’s lifestyles are evolving and so have their needs and Univision 23’s mission is to serve the changing needs of this community,” said Luis Fernandez-Rocha, Vice President and General Manager, Univision 23. “The two hour edition of “Al Amanecer’ will give us the opportunity to provide our viewers with all the information they need to start their day well informed.”
