Immigrants in Morris: Fence can’t fix border – Morris County, New Jersey

“As President Bush signed legislation on Thursday authorizing 700 miles of fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border, some in the Morris County Hispanic community said such a move does little to solve the real problems of illegal immigration.

“I don’t think it’s going to solve anything,” said Luisa Maldonado of Morristown, who migrated from Mexico in 1989. “It’s money wasted. So many other things need to be done instead.”"
