“A Pulitzer Prize winner, a social justice artist and a Dí de los Muertos procession will be part of this weekend’s Iowa Latino Conference in Des Moines.
The eighth annual event, Friday and Saturday, is expected to draw about 700 people.
Volunteer organizers around the state say the conference has grown by leaps and bounds.”
