“Hispanic Democrats may be sighing in frustration when they glance at the Adams County ballot in two weeks.

Their party, which claims a countywide advantage for the number of registered Democrats over Republicans, and which boasts having more registered Hispanic voters than the GOP on the national level, put only two Hispanic candidates on the county’s ballot this election.

Four of the six Hispanic candidates running for county and state office on this year’s Adams County ballot are Republicans. “
