Seward County ahead of state with Spanish translators for elections – Kansas

Tagged:

“Until as recent as Wednesday, there has been quite a bit of confusion concerning Kansas voter registration cards. From English and Spanish versions not matching up to the limited availability of translators, the state has made some adjustments to the system. Seward County has not experienced the issues to quite the extreme as other parts of the state. However, the new adjustments will benefit this county, as well as the rest of the state, in the long run.

According to election deputy Crystal Clemens, although the confusion has been statewide, the availability of interpreters has kept Seward County on somewhat of an even keel.”
