“Hurricane Paul continued to weaken as it moved northward toward the Mexican west coast state of Sinaloa, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.

The storm’s center was about 385 miles (619 kilometers) south-southwest of the resort of Cabo San Lucas on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula as of about 8 p.m. Los Angeles time, the center said in an advisory on line. Paul was forecast to pass to the south of the peninsula early tomorrow before reaching the mainland late tomorrow.”
