Heineken USA Promotes Sergio M. Barrios to Director of Public Affairs

“Heineken USA, the nation’s largest beer importer, today announced the promotion of Sergio M. Barrios to the position of Director of Public Affairs. In his new role, Barrios will be responsible for leading the community involvement and state legislative affairs strategies and programs for Heineken USA.

Barrios has spent his professional career with Heineken USA and will mark his seventh year with the Company later this month. Following two years as a merchandiser, Barrios transitioned to the Corporate Relations aspect of the business, earning a promotion during spring 2001 to Industry & Government Affairs Manager (West), a position he held for the next four years out of the Company’s regional headquarters in El Segundo, CA. In January 2005, Barrios earned a second promotion to Public Affairs Manager (West).”
