“Despite the fierce competition from HP and other rivals, Dell managed to boost its overall PC sales in Latin America by 70 percent in the third quarter this year. That compares with 55 percent growth for HP, according to preliminary data from Dataquest.
“We are seeing strong growth throughout the region,” says Eric Dithmer, vice president and general manager for Dell Latin America. “The position in all of the markets is strong and we continue to make it stronger.”"
