Hispanic retention may indicate lack of awareness - University of Missouri at Kansas City

“According to some students and community members, Hispanics do not go to UMKC or stay at UMKC once they are here because of a lack of awareness of University programs.

This lack of awareness covers many things, including student resources and scholarship availability. While UMKC may have avenues to help get local Hispanic community members into college, some think the University is not advertising these programs very well.”
