Antonio Banderas to Recieve Gabi Award at LALIFF Sponsored by GrupoMex Holdings

“GrupoMex Holdings, LLC is proud to be the premiere sponsor the 10th Annual Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival 2006 (LALIFF) in Los Angeles, California, which will conclude Sunday, October 15, 2006. Edward James Olmos will present a “Gabi” Lifetime Achievement Award to Antonio Banderas on behalf of the Creative Artists Agency as a highlight of the evening on Saturday, October 14th at the Egyptian Theatre.

The “Gabi” Lifetime Achievement Award was created in 1997 during the inaugural Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival and was bestowed posthumously on the legendary Mexican cinematographer, Gabriel Figueroa. GrupoMex is proud to be a part of LALIFF celebrating the richness and variety of Latino culture by showcasing the latest and newest Latino productions from the US and around the world.”
